If you go to Cambodia you have to make a long stop in Siemens Reap. The Ankor temples are incredible and they can take your breath away. The only bad thing is the prices 20$ for the temple another 20$ for the water falls, another 20$ for the water village. I think it can be even expensive than your own country. But the problem is when you ask the locals for the crazy prices and after.long conversation you realise that the company which deal with the tourism in the area is a private Vietnamese company and the locals don't get much of that money.

The wife of our tuk tuk driver was a weaver, she just to work for Ankor Crafts but she stopped working after the kids. They told me that also the salary was not so great, they work a lot of ours for not much money. The sales have drop because the tourist don't have money and they don't reduce the prices, sometimes the even increase them! Anyway but if you go to Siem Reap, I think you should go and visit the workshops, they are incredible and they take you around for free to see everything.

Sin duda si vas a Cambodia tienes que hacer una larga parada en Siem Reap. Se puede decir que los templos de Ankor son increíbles y las ruinas que te quitan el aliento. Lo malo, los precios; 20 dólares para entrar en los templos, otros 20 dólares para las cataratas, otros 20 para ver el pueblo pesquero. Y así sucesivamente. Sientes como que la zona es más cara que tu propio país. Después preguntas a la gente local porque es tan caro y te das cuenta tras una larga conversación que la agencia de turismo que lo lleva y pone los precios es privada y vietnamita que tienen el contrato firmado para años y que los locales no obtienen casi nada de ese dinero.

La mujer de nuestro conductor de tuk tuk era Tejedora con telar, había trabajado  durante años en Ankor crafts, pero tras los niños había dejado de trabajar. Ya que no merecía la pena, trabajan durante horas y no conseguían prácticamente ningún beneficio. Decía q las ventas habían disminuido y en vez de reducir los precios para incrementar ventas los precios de los productos seguían subiendo, por lo q los turistas no compraban nada. Aún así si pasáis por Siem Reap es buena idea ir a Ankor crafts para ver sus talleres.
